3rd April Japan Strom movies

The storm today reached typhoon strength. Here are the first movies - all of them are from Port Island, Kobe city (Osaka bay), Japan:

First the torrential rain - it hit us just after 13:30:

Several more movies from the port island - the gusts were so strong that the people (including me) couldn't walk:

In this one I was trying to run in the storm - quite futile exercise!

Next several movies are from walk which I took in the local park think that the storm is already finished - I was wrong!:

1st April Kobe Weather Update

This the very first post of Japan Typhoon Watch blog.
Today is nice and sunny in Kobe. Yesterday it was quite different - gale and high waves in Osaka bay.
Here are two movies I took from yesterdays events - the first one is from our neighborhood:

And the second one from Osaka Bay (the wave breaker of Kobe Airport):

As you can see the conditions were quite tough at certain moments.
